Shake on it – Jamie Peacock set to inspire the HpE Team
LEEDS Rhinos star, Jamie Peacock proved why his conversion from pitch to business is set to score when he shared the secret of his longevity and success with us recently.
He joined us and some of our customers to discuss team tactics and how they could be transferred from the rugby pitch to the boardroom to motivate staff and deliver results.
Playing in his testimonial year at Leeds Rhinos the former England star spoke of how he had learnt to handle delicate personnel issues while captain with Bradford Bulls, blend into an established team when he moved to Leeds Rhinos, set achievable targets for himself and team mates and cope with adversity as well as celebrate success.
“In the last 18 months we have had a lot of change here at HpE Process and set some clear goals for growth. I have always communicated my own ambition for the business with the team to take them with me. I invited Jamie to motivate, inspire and highlight how change is not confined to the business arena,” said MD, Andy Allman about why he hired the sport pro to motivate the team.
“Inviting customers added the extra dimension of improved bonding, gave background to our own story and has been a great team building exercise.
“Everyone was genuinely inspired by Jamie and is looking forward to using what he talked about in their own business journey.”
