HpE Process Ltd has been appointed the approved UK distributor for KPA pumps giving us a greater range for the pharmaceutical and personal care industries.
Already the acknowledged leader of hygienic production solutions to the UK’s food and beverage industry, HpE Process Ltd, has been keen to expand into other hygienic sectors for some time with pharmaceutical and healthcare obvious choices.
We have signed a distribution agreement with Germany’s, KPA, to supply their range of hygienic pumps to new and existing customers in the UK. It means we will have a hygienic solution for every production problem.
“We have been recognized industry experts for highly viscous products such as pralines and fudge as well as delicate food like soft fruit but the highly regulatory pharmaceutical sector has always eluded us because it has more stringent requirements,” explained MD, Andrew Allman.
“We can now offer a comprehensive range of centrifugal pumps that are European Hygienic Engineering Design Group (EHDG) compliant, can be manufactured in a higher grade of stainless, polished to pharmaceutical standards, supplied with all material certification (including Delta Ferrite tests) and capable of handling the fine liquids that are common in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. They are also suitable for the dairy and brewing sectors where we currently work but want to make our own,” he added.
