LEEDS based HpE Process Ltd has signed a deal with one of the UK’s leading industrial parts suppliers to boost growth.
The collaboration between the Gildersome based pump and valve supplier and BSS Systems Sheffield will enable both parties to grow their core business in strategic areas harnessing their exclusive skills for mutual benefit.
If successful, the partnership between the Sheffield branch of BSS will be rolled out across the UK potentially unlocking £100,000s of business for HpE Process Ltd.
Already early wins have seen manufacturers and customers of both companies access ‘just in time’ delivery of key parts enabling continued production without heavy financial outlays.
HpE Process Ltd has drawn up a list of core products in key sectors specifically food and beverage, pharmaceutical and household goods on a flexible sale and return scheme ensuring that BSS Sheffield can always supply major customers.
The deal extends listings of existing ranges and opens doors for new products such as HpE Process Ltd’s in house designed Versaline Tubing launched last month, while maintaining manageable stock levels for BSS.
As part of the deal HpE Process Ltd will provide ongoing training for BSS personnel to ensure they gain the maximum from the new initiative.
The partnership has advantages for both companies. BSS will have stock of key lines while HpE Process Ltd will access the BSS network.
The deal was launched with an open day at BSS Sheffield to promote the new lines and upskill BSS staff. The partnership also resulted in a trade counter initiative enabling the promotion of HpE’s products and solutions.
The partnership has had some early successes and is now hoped that it will support both businesses in enhancing sales and expanding further.
Ian Bettles, Branch Manager for BSS Sheffield said:“Having a long history of working relationships with both BSS and HpE, I thought it would be beneficial for both parties to work together to supply hygienic products into the industrial market sector.
“ BSS has more than 60 branches throughout the UK, and are in a position to give an increased coverage of HpE products into the market place.
We have already seen an increase in sales in the first quarter of 2015 compared to quarter one in 2014, so long may it continue as we grow the partnership over the coming months”.
